Greg & Stephanie

Executive Director & Food Service Director

Greg began his ministry here at Bethany Camp in February of 2004, and has over 25 years experience in camping ministry. Greg graduated with a degree in physical education from Cedarville University, and has a wide range of life experience. He has spent time as a camp director, Christian school teacher, a UPS shift manager, and overseeing an onion shipping operation. At Bethany, he provides vision and direction for the ministry, gives guidance for future projects among many other tasks.  He is a certified lifeguard instructor, has a large amount of knowledge in the area of construction, and food service. Greg enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, their seven children, golfing, and cheering for his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes.

Stephanie is our Food Service Director, and Office Manager.  She feels blessed to be back serving at the same camp she grew up attending. Whether it be cooking, planning events for rental groups, making t-shirts, shopping for the camp, certified lifeguard instructor, Stephanie is always willing to jump in where needed.  Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, thrift store shopping, and reading a good book whenever she can!

Aaron Young

Camp Director

Aaron began his relationship with the ministry at Bethany Camp in 2014. He graduated with degrees in music education from both Houghton University and the University of Hartford. Prior to his tenure as Camp Director, Aaron held positions as a Choir director at Williamsville North High School, Orchard Park Middle School, and Waterbury Christian Academy.

After being saved at 9 years old at a place like Bethany Camp, Aaron has been passionately involved in camp ministry for the past 23 years. He is excited to step into this new role and to carry forward the mission and ministry of camp. Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife, Monica, their two children, singing, playing the piano, and investing in the next generation through discipleship and the teaching of God's word.

Wally & Donna

Wally and Donna Frank have been faithfully serving as full-time volunteers at Bethany Camp since 2009, filling many different roles over the years.

Wally is the steady, behind-the-scenes worker who keeps camp running smoothly. From running the floor scrubber, cleaning cabins, washing dishes, and mowing lawns, to making sure the buildings stay warm and welcoming, he serves joyfully and with a willing heart in every task.

Donna brings beauty and care to camp in her own special way. She lovingly tends to the flower beds across the grounds, keeping them vibrant and inviting.

Together, Wally and Donna embody what it means to serve faithfully. We are deeply grateful for their dedication and the countless ways they bless this ministry!

Madison St.Cyr

Maddie has been part of the Bethany Camp team for a year now, and in that time she has joyfully stepped into many different roles. Whether she’s lending a hand in the kitchen, baking up cookies and sweet treats, helping out in the office, or simply bringing laughter and energy to the team, she is always ready to serve wherever she’s needed.

Although Maddie comes with a culinary background and graduated from the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute with a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, she felt called to take the leap and serve in camp ministry. Besides enjoying what camp offers, she loves visiting her family, traveling and is on a journey to find the worlds cutest coffee shop.

Emily joined the Bethany Camp staff at the beginning of the summer and quickly stepped into the role of running the Bistro. She did an incredible job, keeping everything organized and running smoothly while also working closely with the kids who helped out. Beyond what guests could see, she also handled a lot of behind-the-scenes tasks that kept things operating with excellence.

Emily graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Camp Ministry and Sports Management. She has been involved with camp ministry for 5 years serving at various camps in Virginia and West Virginia. Emily enjoys spending time in the outdoors with a passion for hunting and fishing.  â€‹

Sydney Frank

Sydney has been part of Bethany Camp for as long as she can remember, growing up here as the daughter of our Executive Director. After spending a few years away, she has returned and jumped right back into serving wherever she’s needed. While much of her time is spent working on media and marketing, she also enjoys lending a hand with projects in the building and being involved in the day-to-day life of camp.

Sydney got her degree at Cedarville University for Graphic Design and brings her creativity in everything she does here at camp. With her joyful personality and whimsical spirit she makes camp fun! She loves the outdoors, thrifting and doing anything crafty.

Bayley Herman

_MG_0403_edited.jpg

Bayley is the newest member of the Bethany Camp team, joining us at the end of last summer. Though he has been here the shortest amount of time, the team has quickly grown fond of his personality and the energy he brings to everything he does. Every day, Bayley approaches his work with enthusiasm and joy, reflecting his passion for serving others in the Lord’s name.

Bayley came to know Christ through a Christian camp experience, and he is eager to share that experience with others so they, too, can grow in their love for Him. Before joining the Bethany Camp team, he gained experience working in a variety of environments while attending Grove City College. He loves being active and having friendly competition.
