Greg began his ministry here at Bethany Camp in February of 2004, and has over 20 years experience in camping ministry. Greg graduated with a degree in physical education from Cedarville University, and has a wide range of life experience. Greg has spent time as a camp director, Christian School teacher, a UPS shift manager, and overseeing an onion shipping operation. At Bethany, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the camp, gives guidance for future projects, and implements the vision for the camp. He is a certified lifeguard instructor, has a large amount of knowledge in the area of construction, and food service. Greg enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, their seven children, golfing, and cheering for his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. Stephanie is our office manager in charge of registration. Whether it be with cooking, cleaning, planning events, making t-shirts, or shopping for the camp Stephanie is also our go-to volunteer. She is always willing and happy to jump in and bless others.

Tim and Ashley Stairs are excited to be ministering here at Bethany Camp. Tim grew up as a pastors kid and missionary kid. He had the privilege of spending some time in South Africa during High school which had a deep impact on his outlook of life. Ashley grew up in south west Michigan which is where they met in college. They got married on 12/17/2011. God has blessed them with four awesome kids Alistair, Maryjane, Isaiah, and Aubrielle!

 

Tim has been working in construction and ministry since 2006. He has a deep passion for discipleship and seeing ministry growth and sharing the gospel. He has an associates of applied science in electrical technology and is currently working on continuing his education through online classes. 

 

Our favorite thing about working in camping ministry is how discipleship fits so well into our everyday work and life. It is awesome to see how God uses a week of camp to change campers lives and what's even more awesome is seeing how God uses the summer to grow the hearts and minds of the summer staff. God changes lives at camp and it is a privilege for us to be apart of it!

WALLY & DONNA FRANK


HANDYMAN & BOOK KEEPER

Wally is the ever-handy man who will tackle any task given to him with precision and ease. He is always ready for a new challenge. Whether it's cleaning the cabins or washing the dishes he is willing to handle it. Wally's experiential background ranges from owning and operating a successful insurance agency in addition to co-owning an onion packaging plant. 


Donna is the camp's bookeeper.  She is the person who keeps us all accountable with our receipts. Her attention to detail and experience with numbers and finances make her the perfect fit for the job! She is even part of our Quirky Hobbies retreat here at camp, enjoying her hobbies of scrapbooking and even spending time with her grandchildren during those times. 


We are so grateful for Wally and Donna and their service here with us since 2009.

Tristen Frye

Tristen grew up locally in Panama, NY where he attended both Panama Baptist Church and Panama Central School. He has been attending Bethany Camp since about the age of 6. In 2014, Tristen joined the Summer Staff where he served on the Maintenance Team, and as both a Counselor and Program Supervisor in later years. In September 2019, Tristen served at camp in our Internship Program which concluded in the Summer of 2020. After the Internship program, he stayed on as the Office Manager here at Bethany Camp. Tristen has a Associates in Business Administration and is currently pursuing a career in Camp Ministry. Tristen enjoys the serving opportunites that come from being here on our staff as well as building relationships with all of the campers that come here throughout the year.
