EVEN A SMALL GIFT CAN MAKE AN ETERNAL IMPACT

By giving to the Capital Campaign you are helping to build a pavilion over the basketball court, providing much needed indoor recreation space and remodel the Walnut Grove cabin.  By giving to our Scholarship Fund you are helping to provide kids in need with a week of Summer Camp.  Either way you are helping us fulfill our mission of creating an environment for spiritual growth and change where kids can have fun, build relationships, and hear the good news of the gospel.  All donations to Bethany Camp are tax deductible.

2019 Vision Dinners

Bethany Camp has been ministering to kids and families in Western New York for nearly 70 years. Beginning on Chautauqua Lake in 1952 and moving to our current location in 1977.  A lot has changed in the world and in our community over the years but God’s faithfulness and our mission to provide an environment for spiritual growth and change has remained constant.  Over the past decade new facilities have been built and old ones have been remolded as we remain committed to serving with excellence the nearly 4,000 campers that spend time hearing God’s Word at Bethany Camp each year.

As we look to the future, we are excited about the opportunities that God has for us on the horizon.  In 2018 we were able to provide 20 full scholarships to children in need in our community through the 1st annual Bethany Camp Open Golf Tournament.  We believe that is just the beginning and have the goal of providing 100 scholarships every year to kids who otherwise would not have the opportunity to spend a week at Bethany Camp.

As we expand our camper base, we believe that it is important to continue improving and expanding our facilities as well.  While facilities are not our primary focus at Bethany Camp, we believe that they are important tools that will allow us to minister to more campers and retreat groups than we ever have in the past.  We are currently putting the finishing touches on the new pavilion over our basketball court.  In 2019 we plan to remodel the Walnut grove cabin giving it the more modern and functional features found in our newer cabins.  In the near future we plan to replace the aging Pine Ledge and Oak Ridge cabins with a brand-new cabin.  We also have plans to build a new recreation building that would provide much needed indoor recreation space and a new chapel building that would allow us to host multiple groups at a time.

We would like to invite you to one of our three Vision Dinners that will be held on Saturday evenings in the month of March.  On March 9th there will be a dinner at Nick’s Place in Edinboro, PA, on March 16th there will be a dinner at the Knights of Columbus in Buffalo, NY and on March 23rd there will be a dinner at Bethany Camp in Sinclairville, NY.  At our vision dinners you will have an opportunity to hear stories of lives changed through the ministry of Bethany Camp from campers, staff, parents and pastors.  You will also have the opportunity to partner with us in helping us meet some of our financial goals that will allow our vision to move forward.

We would also like to empower you to be an ambassador for Bethany Camp by reaching out to people who you know would benefit from being a part of one of our vision dinners.  Bethany Camp has been making an impact on people’s lives through the Gospel of Christ for nearly 7 decades.  If you know of someone who has been connected with Bethany Camp over the years or who you would like to see get connected with Bethany Camp in the future please reach out to them on our behalf and invite them to a Vision Dinner.

If you will be attending a Bethany Camp Vision Dinner please let us know by contacting the camp office at office@bethanycamp.org or 716-287-2848, by 2 weeks prior to the event.
