Goals and objectivies
It is our goal to generate a camp setting
through different activities and the teaching of the Word of God which will cause campers to come to a saving knowledge of Christ and grow in their walk with Him.
We encourage practical experience in leadership, service, witnessing, proper diet, wholesome exercise, and good attitudes toward the body as God's
temple.
Camper centered
The counselor seeks to meet the individual needs of each camper in all areas of life: spiritual,
physical, social, and mental.
Because campers learn in specific ways at different development stages, the camp program is carefully designed with those
needs in mind.
Mission statement
Each portion of our daily schedule is planned with a purpose. Each staff member has a
clearly defined role. The spiritual program is coordinated between the staff, speaker and program to produce decisions that change lives.
Building relationships
Bethany's camping programs have a history of successful life changing results, ministering to over
1500 campers in a wide variety of year-round programs. Over 30% of summer campers make life-changing decisions for Christ, leaving with a desire for greater service.
Leadership
Our summer camps are conducted by a staff of college-age counselors. This staff receives two weeks of Biblical
counseling, discipleship, leadership, program philosophy, and safety. The result is an enthusiastic and motivated group of mature young adults focused on changing lives
through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Location
The camp is located in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains where 210 acres
offer a wide variety of recreational opportunities, rustic beauty, and room to explore the testimony of God's creation.
