Greg began his ministry here at Bethany Camp in February of 2004, and has over 15 years experience in camping ministry. Greg graduated with a degree in physical education from Cedarville University, and has a wide range of life experience. Greg has spent time as a Christian School teacher, a UPS shift manager, and overseeing an onion growing & shipping operation. At Bethany, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the camp, gives guidance for future projects, and implements the vision for the camp. He is a certified lifeguard instructor, has a large amount of knowledge in the area of construction, and food service. Greg enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and their seven children, golfing, and cheering for his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. Stephanie is one of our office volunteers but often helps wherever is necessary. Whether it be with cooking, cleaning, planning events, making t-shirts, or shopping for the camp Stephanie is our go-to volunteer. She is always willing and happy to jump in and bless others.

JAKE AND LIZ SORBER

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Jake and Liz are both graduates of Davis College where they met.  Jake went on to get a Masters Degree from Elmira College and serve as a Youth Pastor in Binghamton and Syracuse for over 20 years.  Liz has a long history at Bethany Camp as she was a camper, work staff, counselor and supervisor.  Jake and Liz have adopted 2 children Owen and Madilyn who love to play sports and music and help out around camp.  Jake and Liz have a deep passion for discipleship and mentoring and love working with the college and high school students that are on our summer staff. 

TYLER WRIGHT

FOOD SERVICES DIRECTOR

Tyler grew up right down the road in Randolph.  He came to Bethany as a camper and later worked as support staff and as a counselor.  Tyler did an internship at camp over the summer and has stayed on as our Food Services Director.  Tyler is also a gifted musician and often leads worship during chapel.  Tyler has 2 cats, once carried a piano by himself (maybe Micah helped a little) and claims to be able to crack 280 eggs in 5 minuets.

THAYNE AND JOY BODENMILLER

FULL TIME VOLUNTEERS

Thayne and Joy Bodenmiller are full time volunteers at Bethany Camp.  They have agreed to serve through this coming spring with the potential of longer term.  Thayne served as the pastor of First Baptist Church of Westfield, NY for nearly 30 years.  Their servants hearts are their greatest assets, and they will assist us in many ways all over the camp.

SHAUN JAQUITH

HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

Shaun grew up right here in Sinclairville.  She has served in several different capacities here at camp and is currently supervising our housekeeping.

WALLY & DONNA FRANK

HANDYMAN & BOOK KEEPER

Wally is the ever-handy man who will tackle any task given to him with precision and ease. He is always ready for a new challenge. Whether it's cleaning the cabins or washing the dishes he is willing to handle it. Wally experiential background ranges from owning and operating a successful insurance agency in addition to co-owing an onion packaging plant. 


Donna is the camp's Office Manager, in charge of finances, bookkeeping, and any other office details that need taken care of. Her attention to detail and experience with numbers and finances make her the perfect fit for the job! She is even part of our Quirky Hobbies retreat here at camp, enjoying her hobbies of scrapbooking and even spending time with her grandchildren during those times. 


We are so grateful for Wally and Donna and their service here with us since 2009
